Here's my first attempt at making something I hope will turn out nice enough to be caught wearing out in public! It's the Sea Breeze Top, a free pattern from Lion Brand Yarn. I'm making it out of Lily Sugar and Cream Twist cotton yarn.
I'm making my swatch right now so I get the gauge right!
Now that my blanket is at the next stage of laying it out and deciding placement, I needed a project that I can carry to work with me. Somehow, the thought of having a big 'ol blanket on me sewing it up together when it was 80 degrees F. outside today, just doesn't sound pleasant or practical. Hope you are making progress on whatever things you are working on and thanks for stoppin' by.

Hello there! I came by to tell you that I don't have a recipe for that Kahlua Pie. I think I called it Cappuccino Pie, but that was wrong. What I wrote in my blog entry is exactly what I do. I buy Starbucks Coffee ice cream at the grocery store (you can use any brand really)and soften it enough to spread it in the store-bought chocolate cookie pie crust. Then top it with some fudge topping for ice cream (not hot). I let that set up in the freezer and before serving, top with Cool Whip and sliced almonds. Pour a little Kahlua on your plate before cutting your piece and placing it on your plate. Sounds simple, and it is, but it tastes so decadent. The Kahlua really adds something special.
That sweater is really pretty! Can't wait to see how it turns out for you. Good luck with it.
Okay, I messed that up. It IS Hot Fudge sauce that you use, not regular. I wrote out the recipe and put it on my blog today, along with another pie recipe.
Lovely! Just wondering: did you finish it already? The pattern looks great and your beginning does to!
If you like, I have a link party on my blog. You can add a picture and a link to your blog in my latest blog post. I would love it if you add something!
Bye!
Annemarie
